I actually have Joseph 500 to thanks for my colour choice, as it was his pictures posted that drew my attention to what I consider a classic 500 colour.

I now have got a TwinAir in R&R Blue with red leather / ivory ambiance, and chrome. And I have to say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I get a lot of looks zipping around in it because it's not the usual 500 (before I had one of the very first BNW 08 reg, but wouldn't have another BNW as where I am in this particular part of London, every 'Yummy Mummy' seems to drive that colour combo). It's just great to be different.

I think for this colour to have the 'wow' factor you need to 'ping' it up with a bright interior trim (hence the red), and chrome.

The only drawback I can see is the fear of getting it scratched (which is not such a visible issue on the lighter colours obv). And it takes an extra whizz of the chamois when washed just to get rid of the watermarks.

Whatever you choose - enjoy!

Glad to hear !!!!! (and just a bit jealous) ....post the pics please

"I am duty bound to spread the Italian Car love" :D

Just wanted to let everyone know, I've ordered a Bossa Nova white lounge with dark grey and ivory interior. Should be here by mid October and i cannot wait!!!

Oh.. I have decided to call her Bella :p

Thanks for everyone's help

xx

A stylish and practical choice. Mine is the same but with ivory/red - looks great but I'm sure the red will be more prone to marking than the grey. I'm sure you'll love it - after 6 months I still smile when I get in mine, and nothing's gone wrong or fallen off (touch wood!).

Congrats, you will love the car.

Why BNW ? RRB is an excellent colour and its a colour not white or black. What changed your mind... just curious.

btw: go for 16" spokes and get the Armrest from RUI, can't live without the armrest now.

Just buy the colour you want and forget about resale value - the garage will only give you an insultiung offer in 3 years time anyway - any difference in trade in value between colours will be minimal. Sounds like you have been hankering after one for a while - so buy what you want, enjoy it and forget about any resale. If you buy a olour you dont like, by worying about the resale value then you will only regret it and everytime you see one in the colour you like you will only say to yourself "i wish i had bought that colour"
