Bravo Bravo Abarth Conversion.

Introduction

I always thought that the Bravo is such a beautiful car and would look amazing in Abarth livery. So I set out on this project which I have really enjoyed doing. I also really love the hidden exhausts rather than the twin pipes on the back also which is why I have no plans to change the back end of the box. Currently Running at a "restricted" 175BHP and 209ft/lb of torque, it currently has more torque than the 695 Tribute 500!

So i've slowly been doing work to my Bravo over the last 1.5years! Thought it was finally time to post up whats been done and get some opinions! Won't be for everyone but welcome all opinions! :D

So I started with my 150 T-Jet below (as standard)

So my first modification was Hid's which were 4300k's:

Then I got my GSR installed and remapped:

I have some restrictive problems with my Cat on the exhaust, which is backing up my exhaust so my power is flat-lining higher up. This will be sorted in the next couple of months. It's plenty fast enough at the moment.

Next I got my Abarth badges and Alloy wheels for my car:

Afterwards I made a new Abarth Key in the new style:

And I got a new engine cover and set of car mats to go with it:

And finally, replaced my steering wheel with a new one from a 500 Abarth:

When I finally get my new Exhaust parts I can also fit my Esseesse boost sensors to regulate the boost better too:

So with that completed so far, some further modifications include:
-New downpipe with sport cat from TMC and Esseesse boost sensors
-Grande Punto Abarth Seats
-Maybe some new Springs and Dampeners
-New Brakes/Tyres

Thanks For Looking! :D
my mate does trimming of pillars, door cards and the like. He could do faux suede/leather or real leather/suede or flock etc etc. PM me if your interested and i'll forward you his contact details.

Ooooh well yeah when I have the funds in the bank I will want those to see what it will cost me! I will drop you a PM when that is!

Really want my skirts and spoiler next..... :D

Depends on a couple if things, depends on your airbag connectors as people have had different connectors, also if you want then functional your gonna have to modify your steering control units on the wheel as these have different clip positions on the back.

Hi Leigh, couple of questions:-

The picture of the back-box you have uploaded, is that what you had installed or what came off your car? Also I see you upgraded your sensors, is this a simple swap or do you need to make other modifications in conjunction to get the sensors to work and ensure the car doest through the CEL?

Yeah the sensors didn't really do anything, I wouldnt worry about them, not a worthwhile purchase to be honest, the standard sensors are pretty much the same. The twin outlet picture with the loop in it is the standard exhaust which is the restriction on the vehicle. My new exhaust is straight through, no silly loops.

Also gadge, Im in the process of new intercooler and Sports Cat to match the new turbo, when I have all 3 parts they will go onto together, and it will literally be make or break (the clutch) time lol! :D

Are you taking bets :p

Seems like it would be worth having a Fiat Forum sweepstake to see how long it lasts! Would be a giggle for everyone......apart from me as I have to collect the pieces of my car from the floor lol!

I'd love to update it with fun things, but I am still in the process of collecting parts and wondering about putting things together. At the end of the month I will be another step closer but this is quite a biggie I am trying to pull off! :p

It seems to have been awhile and spent a long time wondering what to do, so not much of an "update."

HOWEVER I am looking to sell my car now, which I know it is sad :( It has got me through thick and thin. It has been a brilliant runner and not missed a beat, I have looked after the inner-workings of it to a very high standard. The whole history of the car is in this thread but if you want to know more just ask. Ill be posting an ad later on today.

So if you are interested in buying it, it will be a resonable price, I will not be asking for stupid money, although I have probably spent the standard car cost on the car itself, I would like to see it go to a good home. It truly is a unique car and I will miss it dearly!

Any questions just inbox me.
