Hi I haven't tracked someone with a similar case. I have a Fiat 1.2 8V Lounge 2012 petrol.

When driving around and using the clutch to change to a higher gear, the accelerator pedal reacts and I call feel it sinking down. This happens when I keep my foot over the accelerator pedal (very slightly) as the clutch pedal is raising to its top position.

Same happens when I the use of the clutch and brake pedals at the same time whilst changing down gear.

All this is new since I used MES to reset the self-learned parameters. So I don't think it is mechanical or a leak. Must be electronic.

Anybody experience this ?

These cars are well known for a weak pedal box-check yours right now as the symptoms suggest a weald fracture - thus the throttle pedal moving when you use the clutch as the metal "flexes" under pressure!.
It could snap clean off!- remove the seat lay in the foot well with a torch and operate the clutch by hand to see whats happening! VERY dangerous DO NOT DRIVE AGAIN UNTIL SOLVED!

Weirdly, everything back to normal for me.

My only assumption was that the ECU entered some re-learning process after the reset of the of the 'self learning parameters' using multiecuscan. It disappeared after an estimated total driving time of less than 2 hours (1h motorway, 30min city), 4 engine restarts, 40+ gear shifts.

As I did nothing ... It's the only rational explanation I can think of ... and I find it hard to convince myself.

I'll inspect the pedals just in case.

Not likely. I've seen this before where the bulkhead fractures due to flexing but might be pedal cluster as well. Definitely don't ignore and check right now.

As advised, this is a mechanical issue. There is nothing electronic that would cause the brake pedal to move with the clutch, and the accelerator has no motor in it either. any movement is a problem with teh pedal box, either a fracture, as suggested, or pivots seizing up. Could be seizing pivots, leading to a fracture.
Get under the dash and find the issue. If you cannot find the cause, get help. Unsafe to drive until fixed.

Double checked everything no signs of wear. Car is behaving completely normal. The accelerator type is electronic with a sensor. I'll bring it to a local mechanic to be on the safe side.

Thanks a lot!

Have someone who's never driven the car to try, I bet they find no problem?
Yup, no else experienced the issue and mechanic had a quick look and didn't see anything abnormal.

Convinced something happened due to the reset. Just happy it disappeared and safe to drive.
