Technical Blown fuse? please help

Hi. I'm new to this and a complete amateur when it comes to car DIY but I've just purchased a 1999 Bravo 115 HLX. One of the interior ceiling bulbs was out so I tried changing it myself. Unfortunately, Halfords gave me a bulb that was the correct watt/voltage but just a shade too long and I noticed whilst trying to fit it, it sparked a little when it came into contact with the terminal.

Since this, both lights dont work and the receiver for the plip key doesn't work.

Have I blown a fuse or something worse??!

probably a fuse. look in the handbook for which number the interior light is and check it

You're a star!..... just changed the fuse and all good now! Seems odd having the interior lights and receiver on the same fuse but hey ho, all good now.

you'd find possibly the cig lighter or head unit was on the same fuse, depends on the car and im not knowledgable on the old bravo/brava
