General bad lights

I don't think the klingons or romulans need headlights, the only reason the enterprise would need them would be to find the dish every time they separated:D Now the death star on the other hand...............;)

what happens when you push them? do you have to go into the menu and select something?

I already tried them, I'm pretty sure nothing happened.

They only work when the lights are on. However, I thought I read somewhere that the xenons have to self level automatically, so no user adjustment is possible.

This is correct stick the key into the ignision and turn on the lights then push the button beside the CD slot and your lights will lower or rise again

I think you're right neil, every time I turn my headlights on, I can see them adjusting automatically.
the headlights dont self level you have to do it manually........!!!!!!

All hid lamps that are factory fitted, must have a self levelling system on the car, by law. This is because of the extra light these produce can cause somebody to be dazzled and crash. They have a sensor on the rear axle to constantly adjust the level, so that they will never dazzle, not just on fiats all makes of car. This is why HID upgrades are still a grey area about legallity. They will pass an mot if white in colour and correct height and pattern, But again if you read your mot it will state an MOT does not mean your car is satasfactory.

The dipped lights are absolutely rotten, full stop.

i think I'll be asking Santa for a HID kit because I really cant drive on unlit roads without putting my full beam on they are that bad!

For all them thinking they've got bad lights. Please get the level checked.

I've always put up with my Tipo's light being crap. 80s car it's to be expected. Today I found the coarse adjuster and now they're as good as the Bravo's lights. Good adjustment is worth 100x better bulbs.

Amen.

at the same time as curing the knocking noise, the excellent dealer (Glynn Hopkins in Bishops Stortford) looked at the beam levels of the headlights (they were set to '0' and still had no depth). Have been told they were pointing way down, have been adjusted and as if by magic previously unlit roads are illuminated as if I were in a football stadium (well not quite). I would therefore suggest that if you think your headlights were poor (I had already changed the bulbs), then get the beam alignment checked.

I have to half aggree....... The bravo lights are worse than my A4 but better than my vaxhaull combo van......When choosing kit to wear for when riding my Motorbike I never skimp on it I always buy the best because its my life im protecting. So I think the lights are just as important as the Brakes , Steering etc etc on the car Because if you cant see then your Buggered:mad: . I will be upgrading the lights after christmas. As i think when its your life and familys life your dealing with I dont mind spending the money.... On HIDs
Try these Buck.. Osram Night Breaker.. seem to work well for me, they`re about £20 depending where you get them from.(y)
