Technical Power steering red light but steering working as should

Hi I have a 2008 fiat bravo 1.6 mjet and the power steering red light is staying on no codes on computer and steering works perfect as it should even in city mode couldn't seem to find anyone with this issue ??

Strange one, I've only had the light come on at same time as PAS failure - always due to power issue in my case.

Cleaning battery terminals and main earth cable connections is always a good idea - the steering draws a lot of current and needs a good earth.

What did you use to scan for errors?

It wouldn't show up on a standard code reader, needs a dedicated adaptor to access the PAS, and MultiECUScan or dedicated software to read and clear codes from this module.
