Wonder if we'll see any panda's in the 'Life on Mars' sequel tonight?

Yes, I know it's set in July 1981 but Gene Hunts Quattro is a 1984 model and they're not too worried about it...

Nor in the original series where they had Allegros as panda cars 3 years before BL put the car into production, lol!

Stu needs to get a move on with the restoration of 'Wee Gem' so he can get it into the next series!!!

The Quattro is actually a 1980 smarty pants as it's a V reg. Well that's what Neil told me

Erm... they didn't make RHD quattros in 1981, that didn't happen till Oct 1982 and the headlamps are all wrong as they're the later one peice type. If Gene's car was 1980 then it should look like this one...

According to RAC Check and the DVLA Enquiry those plates are 1979 (1st Nov) and adorned a beige Datsun Sunny, that was last taxed in 2002

Also, the numberplate font on that Audi is post 2001
