General Anouncing the 2009 Fiat Forum Panda Adventure!

Hi Alan here....
Update from Jim 9.00am this morning....
'120 miles to go. Weather has closed in and alot of snow at destination....North Cape has been closed to 'normal' members of the public, but we hope to get our own snow plough to clear a path for us.......'

will keep you updated.

where he gonna get a snow plough from, north pole ebay?

No, we were going to have to rent one at the tourist office here in Honningsvag for £500 (well, it was that or go on the tour of the Herring Factory as they are the only 2 services they offer bar a free dying of frost bite with every trip here) but as I've brought chains and she's fitted with winter tyres they said we could go in convoy with the tour bus which was four wheel drive and could get help if the weather closed in on us which to a certain extent it has done.

I've a vid for later but after 8 days of nearly constant driving and the panda having done 3600 miles we need a rest... Which is bad as there is an arctic storm arriving soon and the Mageroya may get cut off from the rest of Norway by morning but I really need to take a break from driving

Woah, just looked at the many photos on the Twitter page. Looks like you've travelled it quite far. Did you gain the unfortunate experience of getting stuck in the snow or did the travel go generally alright? :p

Can't believe you made it to the North Pole. Well Done, keep up the good work for the good cause! :)

stop being a girly where is your redbull? :p

an why havent you made a snow man yet?

Surely it's too cold for red bull?! Hot Cuppa's ftw!

Snowman, what about a SnowPanda? Make a snow model of the car :D Would be interesting, but would probably take forever, so a snowman would suffice, I guess.

Thanks!

Fred is worried about the Trolls stealing Sylvia's electric tonight and wanted to stay out in the car guarding her but it's way too cold for such a little bear and the Trolls might be bigger so I'm keeping him in the hotel room...

He's going to keep watch all night thou...

I'm working on the vid now but as i can only edit it on my phone its sooooo slow

Word of warning the Pick n Mix is back!

John has some more pics in his facebook that he took with a real camera instead of my phonepics

Not sure if that will work, I'm a bit of a bookface virgin:eek:
