BTW, I was talking to my mate John who is doing the Arctic trip with me and he says that we're still on (as he had got his hopes up on his first Panda Adventure and was gutted when I told him about the Multipla Madness)
It's going to be the first 2 weeks of April 2009 for the Arctic! As Deirdre pointed out we're going to have to go the long way round (like Jeremry in the TopGear Challenge) but it might mean we could catch up with a few old friends along the way. We're looking into route details at the min but it's going to be overland and most deffinatly avoiding anything to do with Russia!
(and then October/November for the Multipla trip stateside)

Recommendation!
Jim, you really must have a slight diversion on your planned trip. You must travel on the Trollstigen Road. Turn off the E6 onto the E136 and head past Rauma before turning left onto the E63 which takes you towards Norddal. Then make your way back to the E6. It's only a wee diversion, you won't regret it!
