Just about to leave denmark for germany on the ferry in 20 minutes... I'm not going to book the holland ferry cause it only leaves twice a day so if we were to miss it we'd have to wait 12 hours on the next one...
is there no ferry from denmark to the northeast uk?

What could i do in holland? Drive to france in 2 hours and the 40 minutes later be in england? Just a suggestion Anyway we're dying, gotta stop for the night (or whats left of it) and make a move to cross germany in the morning.

She started! Now on autobahn 1 heading towards the uk. Where can i get a set of points in a hurry as she's pinking like crazy again (and we've 525 miles to go to the uk, eek!)

We're on the 1.20am euro tunnel back to blighty! Itinerary then is driving up to maidenhead tonight where we stay at johns friends. Got to nip into near heathrow tomorrow then up the m6. If anyone is on the way give us a time and we'll say hi for coffee.
There is only one problem at the minute thou. Fred has lost his 'free bucket of herring from the herring factory tour' some where in the car and we think there may be fish in the engine. The french authorities are on alert about our herring control problem and euro tunnel have been notified. They may not let us on the train with wild herring roaming free round the car. Fred is looking very guilty about it all
