Eleven years today and racked up 22,565 miles, albeit only 1000 miles up since this time last year. No issues apart from the smashed window last March - and the l-o-n-g wait for the replacement glass.
New tyres were fitted twelve months ago and the brake fluid was changed at the last service in December 2023 (Coolant was changed the year before). The next service, in December this year, will see the brake pads replaced for the first time since new. Has anyone put ceramic pads on their 500 - and can anyone confirm the diameter of the rotors - 257mm?
The car runs exclusively on 98RON petrol and spends its idle time plugged into the CTEK charger. Starts first time every time and Stop/Start functions correctly (when I switch it on to test!) with the now 7-year-old EFB.
New this year is the neat ‘Turbo’ badge on the back and the boot tidies for all the odds and sods one carts about in the back; raincoat, umbrella, jump start battery (just in case!), etc.
Really looks quite smart now. Good for another 10 years...?
