All good stuff...well done...
....Que MEP about central locking..
Well, half an hours work and zero expense has all it's powerrestored. As I suspected, the timing belt was fitted one tooth out. The previous owner had been using like this for months, go figure.
Now if would just stop raining long enough for me to wash and polish it. :bang:
Well done Vernon, sounds like a bargain
The Mania has a few nice little extras, this one sounds extra special - congrats!
I suppose you're all going to tell me that you've got central locking too now.
Errr, well......actually Yes:devil:
In 2 of our Panda's
Got to get around to fitting it in dad's Selecta. It's got the alarm but haven't go around to fitting the central locking in it.
The last one (that got written off) on the other hand did have Remote central locking, and, remote starting. Does yours have that?
Jon.
Sweet :slayer:
Which one is that in?
Well, it was actually dry and sunny this morning so I managed to get a bit of T cutting in before I started work.
Also booked the mot for next Monday morning.
The cheepest rear silencer I could find locally to me was about £35 but would have to be ordered, so I checked on good old Ebay and found one for £31.41 inc. p&p. I phoned the supplier, ordered and payed over the phone, and was assured that I will receive it tomorrow. Excellent, that gives me plenty of time to fit it. I'll be very impressed with this supplier if it does turn up on time, so have given the Ebay link below in case it is of future use to anyone, ( thier phone no. is in the listing ).
