GSR GSR GSR GSR , ALL I HEAR IS GSR !!!,, there not the best induction ...

Oh ok, are you an aerodynamicist  Must mean that all those rolling road graphs are incorrect then too.

"you can by the so called 'Focus' induction kit, which gives you about 4bhp more peak power at the expense of low down torque. Also in heavy traffic it will suffer from heat soak." (www.performancefiat.co.uk)

The pipes on these need to be quite long or you loose low down torque. The filter will also, as Peter rightly points out in the guide on PF, suffer from heat soak.

hear we go again another GSR debate , sorry lads but im not gonna be a part off that !!! all i was trying to say is the GSR aint the only kit that produces bhp gains.

im sure the highend pipercross / K&N and BMC CDA have the same affect as the GSR ..:)

you cantr make a bold statement like "there not the best induction" and then not back it up with any proof at all

theres 2 options back up your arguement or just admit your wrong and you were in a hissy :p

i just dont like the way people on here think that GSR are the option in induction , not everyone can afford a GSR !

other kits are fine as well and i dont think they should be discounted or degraded ..

yes GSR have the data to prove there worth but im sure other highend products would be just as good ..

Punto.jack _ remember you had focus kit on your silver punto ? and is that u up there with the big guns now that u have a 07 plate T-jet?
remember u had to start somewhere as well ..:)

Like everyone has said, its proven gains and isnt just a mass produced filter. They are tailor made to the engines

I have a pipercross filter on atm and it does what I want, but once i have enough money for a GSR im getting one

You cant say that there are better induction kits though without proof

Plus, the top end pipercross kits are double the prince of GSR for same if not less gains

And? I would of loved a gsr kit for it but I was saving up for the new car so there was no point. Im just saying might aswel get a gsr thats been tried, tested & whatever on the car, instead of a generic induction kit.
