there G-Max springs (35mm drop) ,,,,£40 on ebay (new)

£20 from Halfords on sale hahaha!

Will they be ok on standard shocks or should I get shortened ones?
How much were your shocks mate?

Does it handle well?

yeah a 35mm drop is ok with standard shocks , no need to get shorter ones .

i payed £170 for Monroe gasmatic shocks ..

havent really booted it round corners fast yet cause they where only put on today , i'll wait a few days and let them settle right first ..

Looks awesome mate! I cant believe thats just 35mm! I have the same springs waiting to be fitted

It's a sporting though isn't it? They are 20mm lower as standard iirc so it should work out to be 55mm drop in the end..

replacing the 20mm lower springs(sporting) with the 35mm lower springs(g-max) i think gives you a 15mm drop ...

Technically no, because if the standard suspension set up is 20mm shorter it'd only be 55mm on standard springs over a basic punto. Our man AJ has replaced the both the shocks and springs so it will depend on how much shorter the shocks are to determine how much drop he actually has. If he'd have lowered on standard springs, then it would be 55mm over a basic model punto as you said...

yeah its hard for you to come then without a rather tiring journey whats the rest of the plans your looking at for this motor buddy. i like the ride height too looks mint, cant wait to get mine done but cc bumpers, door handles and new mirros comes first.

i know how you feel about the black plastic bumpers i used to have a black 8v to( https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=57702 ) and i hated the bumpers with a passion ..

wheels painted and roof vinyl wraped next week :yum::yum::yum::slayer:
