On a 1.2.. the main body of the airbox is held in place with two rubber bushes which have a metal "top hat" style insert.
When you remove the airbox, if the rubber bush is in good nick, it grips the metal insert and it's cool .. but we all knoe that when the rubber hardens and becomes less grippy, when you remove the airbox the metal insert always drops out.
Friend of the missus' had her car serviced by a garage in Neath (she lives in Newport .. long story, but it's not worth her bringing it all the way back to get the garage to do it properly)... but the garage obviously don't frequent this forum. The metal insert fell out and they lost it.. so bodged it up with some o-rings. The airbox predictably rattles like a bastard..
The bush and top-hat don't appear on ePer (though I'll keep looking) so I guess they're part of the airbox body.
Has anyone managed to find these parts somewhere, or some suitable alternative?
