hi could someone please tell me if aircon comes as standard as im pretty certain I havent got it on my new abarth?

It was on the one i test drove so just assumed it was standard and it says standard aircon on the brochure i downloaded but i just have the old school hot or cold dial with the speed dial too.

thanks

Not sure

Dual zone climate control is an option but it dosent mean to say it wont have basic aircon, just not the means to hold a constant temperature in the cabin

It does come as standard. If you turn the fan dial to any speed (1-4) and then press the bar in the middle of that dial a light should come on to show that the AC is working.

Sorry I can't be more precise but I have had ACC on my three 500s and can only vaguely remember how it works on the standard AC system from when I had a courtesy car.

im sure i remember seeing a button with a/c on the car i test drove but the button isnt there on my abarth there is just a plastic cover where it should go.

The car was already built and was held at a port ready for purchase so it was brand new but didnt get to have any upgrades or add ons but thought AC would have been standard as its not just a basic entry 500 its supposed to be top end of the 500 models

Is this the setup you have in your car?

oh right so i have to just press in the speed dial thingy. i will have to try this when i get in the car later. In my previous car which was a fiesta i just clicked the AC button which was a bit more self explanatory lol

thanks for the info ;)

im glad i asked here first as i would have been quite embarrased ringing the dealer.

I have checked and there is a snowflake symbol on the remperature dial and it does light up when i press it in so im guessing it works. As it was -8 in the car on the weekend there wasnt much need for it nor could i tell if it was actually working lol
