One of the things preventing us getting a 500 for my Wife was the lack of a Heated Seat option. She really needs heated seats and a Auto gearbox so these two options are a must.

I have found that some companies fit heated seats aftermarket - generally companies that also fit bespoke leather options, so they should know what they are doing when re-trimming etc.

Has anyone had heated seats fitted, and why oh why dont Fiat offer it as a factory option for the UK. They provide "big car" options such as Xenon lights and uprated Speaker systems but why no "leccy" seat :(

Here in the USA, the FIAT dealers sell the (2-stage) heated option that is installed at the dealership, not at the factory. The switches are mounted low in the center console. I can't see why they wouldn't be usable in the Euro version. Probably pretty cheap to ship also. Drop one of them a line. There are over 100 now so they should be in pretty good supply. You have to strip off the seat covers, install, and put the covers back on.

Hope this helps.
