General Abarth 595 Yamaha edition

has anyone on here got a Yamaha edition? what's your opinion on them? what are they like to drive etc? any photos?

I ordered yesterday I think it's an excellent compromise from a competizione, if you want the things that make it great from a drivers point of view rarther than comfort, and offers better value than the turrismo, IMO.....
Not a huge difference drive wise from the competizione, and the exhaust actually pops better! Quite a hard drive..... But lots of fun! And I didn't like the sa seats in the competizione, so would have had the free leather upgrade instead......
I upgraded to leather seats in this.... And think I drove a good deal....

I wanted a mix between the comp and turismo so this is perfect for me, at first I loved the sabelt seats in the comp, then I sat in them and wasn't a fan, prefer the standard seats in the Yamaha edition, the exhaust sounds unbelievable, going tomorrow to test drive one and if all goes well I will be signing for it, just hope it drives as good as it looks

That is a really good looking car. Always thought the abarth works better in more staid spec (so not white with stickers everywhere) and that to my mind proves it.

I prefer it like that too, but in the style of the R1 motorbike or the Mustang I can't help but think the abarth decals in white would look pretty good on the blue paint!

each dealership was given one Yamaha edition that is the one in fiat Donnellys Mallusk that's how I'm getting it so quick it's the only one in Northern Ireland and Ireland

Excellent so it's their demo then? Can I ask if so how much they gave off list for a demo? It looks lovely on that podium blue, I'm kinda regretting my colourway, I got one from the docks so just under a two week wait but had to go with what was there, I wanted red leather but it isn't even an option on a Yamaha for some reason.

it was the one they were given, it was for their showroom, 3 miles on the clock, picked her up last night, she is stunning, and an absolutely dream to drive. I think they only come in cordolo red, white or podium blue and the only other seat option for it is black leather which costs extra, about £850.

Abarth should contact you directly but of course the race tracks are all mainland so it's whether you would want to travel.
