Technical 595 tft fuel gauge

Hi all, I purchased a 595 abarth 2 days ago.
The dealership drove it down to me and filled the petrol up to max. I've driven it maybe around 80 miles. The fuel still looked max blip, Still does. I wanted to see if it was a faulty sensor. So put some more petrol in car but only around £7 then was full again.is it just I need to drive it alot as I thought the petrol guage would go down quite quickly.
The range goes up and down as normal and when I start up it shows the guage going from empty to full. Any help appreciated

Pretty normal behaviour. I've found mine will sit on full for ages then drops quite quickly. The range always seems to be pretty accurate.

You're using up what is in the filler pipe, the fuel float in the tank can only start measuring a drop when the fuel gets below the top of the tank, I usually get around 70 miles before I lose the first chunk on the fuel gauge
