Technical 4X4 exhaust replacement

Where are you based? I know a good exhaust specialist near Stafford and another in Devon who can make up a link pipe. None in-between unfortunately.

Can you cut the pipe under the car, move the front part to the catalyst outlet and joint with flex joint? Then fill in the gap with a straight pipe and exhaust clamps? Or even cut the front end out and fit a longer straight pipe.

forgot to mention that Fiat said they could supply a Manicat..............for £1276
cross referenced to part #...a feckin BH91318H
that part # will haunt me for the rest of my life

If they are anything like Andy from Xtreme Stainless Stafford they'll be able to make a link pipe for not much money.

You could drive the car there - noisy - but wont do any harm though you'll obviously want an appointment to save driving back noisy.

if you look under all you get one part number for the 4x4 exhaust

if you specifically go into to 4x4 then you get another but the pictures look different

51763719 or 55191581

notice the kink in the long pipe

unless I am doing something wrong
