Had the water pump done at Fiat's but it's still leaking loads, don't know if they ran it out without letting the gasket sealant set or if it's another issue. Any advice much appreciated.

You have to go back to the Fiat Dealer/Workshop that did work.

DO NOT fuss around etc. It is their responsibility to sort this issue. Also you can if they do not respond take them and the matter to Fiat UK/EU Customer Support.

STAND FAST and insist on a courtesy car.

Was this to attempt to cure a problem with coolant loss? , I don't quite understand.. 😕

Did they diagnose the Pump as being faulty? 🤔

Mate, you need to return to the workshop. When I did mine, I let PERMATEX cure for 24 hours. It's what's written on the tube. Good luck.

Yes cure time is important.

When my 500X timing belt and pump, plus full service were done by an independent garage the FIRST thing they did was to drain the system, get the belts and water pump off. They wanted the car by 8am sharp. Suspect the pump was off and replaced within the hour. They then got on with the rest of the service.

I can't recall now if I picked the car up late PM or the next day. But they stressed sealant cure time was essential.
