Hello all. I've recently picked up a 2015 Doblo 1.6 multijet (152k miles) but I'm having an issue with an 'insufficient oil pressure' dashboard warning.
I've seen a few other threads out there but it seems it could be one of many potential problems. Driven it a dozen times and below is my experience so far:

On first start oil light stays on for 3-5 seconds and dashboard warning comes on. Goes off and drives fine. Would repeat at end of day after sitting all day.
Had my mechanic look at it and he said nothing immediately obvious as it DOES seem to be getting oil pressure. Could be any amount of things so as long as it runs ok drive it for a bit before I start spending money and to get a better idea where the issue is.
Started it the other day and same thing as usual but when I start driving the dash warning comes on again. In the space of 30 seconds the warning came on another 4/5 times with the oil light flickering so I parked up and left it. The engine still sounded ok from what I remember.

Just looking for any ideas or anyone with a similar experience that might point me in the right direction. I've changed the oil and filter already and the levels are good.
Bought an oil pressure switch but not sure of it's location so haven't attempted that job yet.

Hope you're having a good festive time and many thanks for any help.

I have the same message coming up on my 2.0 litre doblo eleganze.
Only started doing it if the outside temperature is below 0 degrees.
Is there any information from fiat on what causes this issue as it seems a common problem.

Hi. My question is on another thread here (under similar threads) with a few more answers and some other bits of helpful info but it seems there's an oil pump seal? that causes issues like this. I think it fits in between the oil pick up tube and engine. It gets brittle and doesn't seal properly until there's some heat in the engine at which point it starts to seal properly again. Below is a link to what I believe to be the seal.
And this link was forwarded to me also. It's an upgrade kit for the same job.

Seems like its an issue that could have a number of possible answers but my mechanic will be working through a few things over the next couple of weeks starting with the oil pressure switch/s then will look at replacing the seal so I'll keep the threads updated with the results.

Wondering if you got anywhere with this? Update on this from my end. A new oil pressure switch looks to have been fitted already so doubtful it's that. Phoned my local Fiat garage and they won't give any advice without booking the van in first. Think I'll try the oil pump seal next and see if that helps.

It is such a common problem that there are even modification kits available. So I would always start with that first. It also isn't a bad thing to do as a precaution.

Booked in to get the seal replaced in a week or so. Will see how it goes after that. Like you say at 152k miles it's worth doing anyway.

Ok, great. A new seal or a modification kit? It is a job you can do yourself if you know righty tighty lefty loosey :)
I bought a new seal anyway but I may pick up the mod kit if I can get one in time. Tempted to do it myself but tricky to do underneath work on vehicles where i am with no driveway etc. Still, got a week or so to change my mind.
