Technical 2014 Fiat Ducato 2.3 diesel - Leak off pipe issue

Good day everyone,

I have a 2014 Fiat ducato with the 2.3 110 engine. I went to do a leak off test (separate issue) and I had so much fuel coming from the leak off pipes it was like they should be feeding the injectors!

What would cause the issue for the fuel to come from these?

just to clarify the leak off pipe is the black pipe connected to the centre of injector at top, all 4 leak off points are connected to bottles (or open one blocked off if one at a time). the leak off is then collected with engine running.
Did fuel come out on disconnection or running and is it continuous?

Yes that's it! Diesel was coming out of the black pipe that connects to the top centre of the injectors. We didn't have blanks we used old bottles but it filled them the van was running and it was a continuous flow from them.
