Help !! - My Punto front passenger window will not rise ! - I have fitted a new window actuator and this works fine at lowering the window but it won't rise !. Does anyone know what colour wire would be the one which controls the "up" function of the switch ?. I have replaced the switch and this is working fine, just not puting the window back up. There are so many wires from the door into the front wing and I can't see any obvious break. I thought if someone knew which colour wire is the one for the "up" function,, I could just replace the entire wire and hopefully this will solve the issue - thanks for any advice, it really would be appreciated - Mark

Did you only replace the passenger switch as the drivers side effects it also. They send a signal to the BCM to activate the motor.
If you look at the motor it has only two wires and no earth I think you will find.
So what it does is changes plus to minus and vice a versa to change direction.
Put a volt meter on it to test what I am saying.
You can have breaks in the wiring loom at the door hinge also. I found my Fiat Doblo passenger door window erratic if I held the drivers door partly open.
I got a s/h door wiring loom and unplugged it at the door frame to change it , it is a lot of work as you have found there are many wires inside the door.:)

Thank you for the advice. I will check out what you said tomorrow.
