Rite i have just phoned up chippeduk, and been advised to go for their balance map, he said i would be looking at 147bhp and getting added 3-4 mpg. Hes got a mobile unit in my area, who would come out and it would cost £304 as they have 20% off at the moment. Does that sound about right? i will phone around, but the place just down the road quoted be £450.

Also just phoned Celtic Tuning, the gentlemen on the phone told me, would be 163 bhp, 288 torqu, 4-5 mpg improvment. Ans someone would have to come out to me, looking at £295. Ive stressted to both companies that i wouldn't want to lost mpg too.

they'll send someone to map the car for you, but what red.dot and also chipped uk do is rolling road your car before and after to show you gains, also they can 'live' map the car to your requirements whereas mobile units only carry generic maps as far as i know

Keep in mind that if you go to London then any subsequent issues (including getting a refund) means you must return.

This shouldn't be the case for any mobile tuning companies - which is of course the main reason they cost more.

so do Western performance, if some one wants one in birmingham then better going there than other places in same area imo

When i phoned chippeduk earlier today, i was told putting the car on a rolling road, would just be pointless stress added to the car, and started on about the pressure of something.
