Hello.

I've just bought a 2010 panda 4x4 cross 1.3 "gulp" only 60k on the clock, when I buy a car i change all the oils as a matter of course just as a preventative measure.

From what I understand its 5w40 for the engine and 75w85 for the gearbox and rear axle?

Many thanks

Sound advice, I also use engine flush especially on diesels to get rid of all the cr*p, but not everyone supports that saying it disturbs more problems, but it works for me.;)
This is from a 2012 Auto Data manual.

I still prefer 10w40 semi synthetic. These engines have not suddenly acquired super long life bearings and the extra viscosity can only be a good thing.
I am not a fan of "long life oils", just regular oil and filter changes. Many people only do short stop/start journeys so contaminate the oil much quicker.

I want to fit a 10% bypass filter that has a 2 micron pore size (standard filters are 30 micron). The snags are (1) reliable connections to the engine (2) not stealing too much oil flow (3) parts and consumables at reasonable costs.
