I saw that there are some posts on this topic over the years but I chose to revive it anyway since I couldn't find my answer.
The door handle on the front passanger side gets stuck when opened, and has to be pushed back down manually in order for the door to lock. This to me wouldn't have been such an issue, but the MOT test here in Sweden marked this as a fault. It has to be fixed.
Putting 5-56 in it from the outside seem to have no effect at all, so I figured I had to open up the doors panel to see if anything is broken or stuck. I read that there is a fair amount of plastic in this mechanism, will have to see if this is my problem.
The initial question for which I couldn't find the answer: How do I remove this panel? On the inside of the door I found two screws in the bottom, and one in the grip. Another 5 that are revealed only when the door is opened, on its side.
I tried removing those on the inside panel and losening the top and bottom one on the side but that does not seem to help. The panel won't move.
Anyone that can tell me which spot to hit? Or is this a case of just driving it to the nearest mechanic and letting them do their job? My problem so far with mechanics in Sweden and Fiat is they have problems getting parts so experience tells me I should try fixing it myself if I can. (Which I don't mind.
