Anyway

Just a quick question.

i have the nokia 5800 and it will not pair with the blue tooth. Is there a software upgrade i need to do?

Cheers

What HP said, takes bloody ages for the Nokia 5800 Xpress to connect.

Took me about 45 attempts and a good hour.

And then I had another one to do, we both have the same phone.

:bang:

cheers guys, i tried it for about 10 mins and got bored lol ill give it another go tomoz............. thanks again.

I got my panda 100hp in november and after two weeks of tryin to make my phone connect i decided to take it bk and let them try and work it out had the whole fiat team around the car and nothin it went to the fiat garage and they had no idea as well and in the end found it was broken car was only 10 months old

I have a pretty sure fire way of getting the Nokia 5800 to pair with the bluetooth in the Panda.

First make sure the bluetooth system in the Panda is reset by pressing and holding both the red and green telephone buttons on the steering wheel.

Once the system is reset you should get the Italian woman chatting you up.

Then do the following on your Nokia 5800.

Select contacts -> Options -> Mark -> Mark all
Select options -> Send as Business card -> Via Bluetooth
Then, select Phone V3.15
It will ask for the code nb (1234) and pair your phone.
Finally set the PhoneV3.15 BT as authorized device.
Turn your phone off and then back on again. It should pair pretty much straight away.

As far as I can tell, the action of attempting to send your contacts to the car by bluetooth forces it to connect.

This worked for me, hopefully it will work for one of you.

I'm having similar problems with my Nokia 6220 Classic, i've had a load of friends and family connect their phones with no problems, but my phone just won't connect. I'll have to try the method markxtc123 has described.

You sir are a genius, I can confirm this worked with my 6220 Classic. Thank you so much.

Hi all,

Can any one help. I just got my Panda Cross and you guessed it the instructions for the Bluetooth are not with the book pack.

I have worked out how to pair it (thanks to the forum) but how do I use it? will it store numbers?

Cheers

When the phone rings, press the green button on the steering wheel and chat away. Press the red button to hang up.

To make a call you must set up voice dialing on your phone. Once this is done press the green button, say the name of the contact you wish to call (contacts stored in phone) and the phone will dial the number, again press red button to hang up.

That's about it!

If you hold the green button down it will redial your last called number.
