Ok, I know the Royal Mail is playing silly buggers at the moment, and I assume that the returned mail I got today is part of all this.

I sent a letter by Recorded Delivery over four weeks ago and it has only just been returned. It has a little red sticker on the front (dated 15/8) saying:

"We were unable to deliver this item because:"

And a box saying:

"Not called for"

has been ticked. What does this mean "Not called for"? :confused:

Also, I am expecting a small package containing brake pipes I won off Ebay sent about two weeks ago at least. The seller informed me when he sent them and confirmed they had been sent when I queried the delivery. He reckons he has had a number of packages not turn up.

Is the mail that bad at the moment, or should I worry that my parcel hasn't turned up?

well it applies to the item not being collected from the delivery office.
so it went out on delivery,could not be signed for and a red card left.
recordeds are kept at the DO for 7 days then returned. it maybe with the strikes the office gave people longer to collect their items(we did this in our office) so they may have given them a bit longer.
then its returned but returned items take less priority over mail going to its 1st delivery

Been waiting for some rock off a fellow stilo owner to be precise one dummy and some pigeon poo :p by the time it arrives the poo will be humming to say the least :yuck: how longs this going to go on for Craig and whats it all about ?
 
i just got alittle red thingy, it said they came at 7:30 no one was even up and they saaid we were out...
my leaves for work at 930 and i sleep till 10ish usually so now i have to bike to the PO! :(
and ive been waiting 2 weeks for some skate bearings

cant win,people complain if your too early or too late ;)
if no one answers the card is written as you were out,its rare fro them to break in to ensure this..

I guess so, but its one of two items.
I imported some trucks from Florida, they came quicker than the bearings i ordered the same night which was 2 weeks ago! :( im still waiting for them.
Hopefully its my new helmet and oakley goggles here today :D or the bearings (y) :rolleyes:
 
if we were part of the developed world i could understand the fustration, but lets be honest, its a miracle we have running water and electricity, be grateful.

go get bearings from a bearing shop, they have big box of skate ones, dont fall for all that ABEC crap, propper ABEC bearings are ceramic you wont get them for skates
