Back when Japanese cars were fun, Nissans were actually Japanese quality, and didn't cost an arm and a leg or only be available in other markets (cough, GR Yaris, cough GR Corolla)it's a beaut
My first instinct was to say it was an S14 but I can see that itās more likely to be an R33.An R33 skyline of some description.
Most of them are dressed up like GTRs now but likely a GT-T or GTS which are cheap enough for people to still drive them in the middle of winter.

I remember back in the late 90s these were stilt cheap, especially by todays standards, something like Ā£35k but nobody bought them making them super rare and super valuable these days.
Hmmmm āafterburnerā tail lights
Even the lesser ones are in the region of a brand new golf or Ford focus so theyāre still not cheap. There was a bloke in the Village had a rough GT-T for a few years...leaked oil like the Exxon Valdez rusty rear arches.
Back when you could pick them up for 7 grand or so as a grey import but as you say only the GTR was desirable and they were just an odd used car with no parts availability and nobody particularly cared.
A gtr is telephone number money now hence why I think this is probably a kitted up lesser one.

The one that always got me was the Mitsubishi lancer Evo, you could also by a bog standard run of the mill Mitsubishi lancer for a few grand and you could tell people down the pub you drive a Mitsubishi Lancer but it looked like some old ladies shopping car with gold paint and brown corduroy seats.

My brother sold his AE86 to someone in Ireland, a decision he massively regretted when the prices skyrocketed to astronomical amounts.I'm talking 15 years ago before the US 25 year rule had driven the market stratospheric.
There were plenty of smokey and leggy skylines brought through Ireland that would never pass an MOT again in Japan.
