So i am uninitiated and looking to get some guidance on the proper starting procedure. I understand the basics of the choke and ignition, but am wondering if anyone has any tips...
Keep a look out for an original owner handbook that will tell you about driving your car as opposed to a workshop manual that will have all the tech stuff.
It will tell you that for cold start full choke and no throttle. Pumping the accelerator will do nothing as the carb has no internal pump.
For hot start the exact opposite , full throttle and no choke.
