Punto (Mk1) Project Fiat punto gt turbo

Introduction

so guys and girls... finally made a project thread bout the my mk1 punto..! So 12years ago my dad gave me my mk1 punto elx 75 1.2 as you do I started playing with the car Changing the bumpers then the wheels then before I knew it I was taking the dash out and playing with the whole car..!!

Ended up sanding the rough dash down so it was completely smooth and changed the fog switches to blue and white from the original green
Took the rear seats out , fitted bucket seats in the front, center dtm exhaust, fiat coupe 16v wheels , twin angel head lights brembo calipers from a fiat coupe 20v , coilovers then ended up fitting a set of type k wide wings , type k rear splitter then smooths it into the rear bumper , fitted an abarth front spiltter and smoothed that in

Then ended up doing a full punto gt engine conversion..!!
Sorry I’ve been very quiet on here guys I’ve currently become a daddy for the first time so juggling work , being a Parent, and being self employed and trying to find time to sort out the punto gt is fun..!! But she is currently getting there

She’s finally running, ignore the squeaking it’s the tensioner , so after changing a couple sensors and still not playing ball just thought let’s swap over the ecu from stand-alone to a standard gt1 ecu and behold she started up.!

Very nice build coming along. Do you know what the dimensions of the adapter for the coupe brakes are, or do you have a mold of some kind? Thinking about fitting ones on mine but cant find any information on them

ever considered having an intake made to draw air form the slot in the bonnet rather than an open pod filter, a custom carbon airbox similar to oem i guess would look epic - but even something like a CDA and some pipes would work well.
funny enough ill be making some kinda heat shield so heat can't get to the air filter

cheers bud, i don't unfortunately but i think there are some on eBay for the brembo callipers , the brembos are from a fiat coupe , hope this helps

So over the weekend I managed to actually do some bits on the punto gt , sorted out the slight smell of fuel by the filler neck where it joins the fuel tank the rubber slip wasn't down far enough just needed another 10m , and bleed the clutch slave so now I can feel I have a clutch pedal
