I've just bought a cheapie 500 (2010) and it's great however I noticed that although I can voice command the Blue&Me component, I can't successfully use the media part.
This afternoon I noticed a whole where I'm guessing the USB part would be. I delved in gently with some tweezers and noticed someone else had done the same but failed. I also failed and mine fell in (Comedy of errors) Anyhow I had another pair and got the little part out some of the way.
It will connect but I would prefer to buy a new old or reconditioned part - my question is: Is this easy to do? What would I be looking for? (I don't know what that little component is called) and how would I go about fixing it? I'm guessing it might just be easier taking to a garage to sort.
