Hi ,No such thing as a "perfect" 500 unfortunately!- you can make the part you are working on "perfect" but its almost certain that along the way you will find another "imperfect" part that needs your attention! they are great little cars with devoted owners! but its like being married to an Italian woman its a love/hate relationship for sure! the trick is trying to get more "love " days enjoy the journey!

The secret to getting value from a car of this age is to replace only what needs to be replaced, not to replace parts which, whilst not perfect, still have a reasonable amount of life left in them.

If you want perfection in a car, the cheapest way to get that is to go out and buy a brand new one.

The cynic in me says it can never be 'perfect' - it's a dualogic! Always great to see another well-looked-after Cabrio though.

Yep a gamble + today you get a soul-less electric toy designed by a hard-drive and built by a robot some where in Asia
