At my wits end with a headlight issue I just cannot resolve. About a month ago went out to my car to find my brand new battery dead. Jumped the car and everything running fine. Thought maybe I had a bad battery and was going to get it replaced. Get home and turn off car and headlights stay on. Finally have to pull the fuse to get the headlights to go off. Realize then it’s not a battery issue. Put the fuse back in and no headlights at all. The fog lights work, headlights don’t. Do a bunch of research, check fuses, jiggle wiring, tap the BCM box, finally decide it must be a bad BCM relay. Send the BCM off for repair. Get it back and put it back in and nothing. No changes. Headlights still off. I have talked to people, my retired auto-worker father looked at it, endlessly searched online, and cannot come up with a solution.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm so upside down in this car now that I can't just get rid of it. Everything online seems to point to the BCM!

Having been on the wrong -end of a BCM repair! its my opinion that many if not all of the "specialist" companys that advertise there services online dont have a F**K*NG clue on how to solve the issues that Crop up!.

What did the "repairer say they had done then and if it hasnt worked can you get your money back!?.

Anyway- It might be better to try and find a used bcm ( with the same part number-good luck) fit that and re-set everything via MULTI E C U SCAN to see if that sorts it? (expensive experiment i know but options get a bit thin real quick in these situations!).

If so GREAT!!- if not just push it of a cliff somewhere after hot wiring the ignition! and walk away!😱& let your I/c know the local Herberts have had it away!😏😢
