hi can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove the original front seat covers on a mk1 96 punto i have re-covered the back seats and was wondering if you can remove the covers without removing the seat thx

mmmm, it maybe possible but why not take seats out?? no trimmer is going to trim the seats in the car - it would be impossible. Added to the fact they come out so easy - i know people who take seats out to clean the car (i think they are a bit mad, but it demonstrates nicely that its not a big deal), afterall its only a few bolts per seat.

As he says. I think it's 4 bolts per seat.

In the Cinq/Sei guides there's a peice by someone who removed the seat covers to wash them (in the machine!) -- may be some useful ideas there.
