Apart from the size, You'd probably never get the ECU to work with the Panda bodycomputer.
Maybe (and I mean maybe) the 1.4 Multiair from a Mito might work if you had the ECU virginised.

Dont u remember V6 Clio? They have mounted it in the rear coz it would not fit in the engine bay with everything else and Clio has more engine room.

In words of Mechanical Stig - You can fit any engine and any car but the more diffecult the job the more it ll cost you.

Like u can have 1.6 in Panda for 3000 pounds all in or u can have 4.2 in the same Panda but it ll cost u 10000-15000 pounds as frame will have to be made from scratch.

Always comes dow to the same question - is it worth it?

Our V6 will only go in the boot, so u can become 1st rear/mid engine Panda. But at what costs

If you could somehow manage it, you'd have one mean daddy of a car.

I wouldn't want to have to stop it in a hurry, or go round a corner, though - and you'd be hard pressed to find an insurer thar didn't regard it as a modification.

It's fun to dream.

But seriously, if you've the skills needed to accomplish this, you wouldn't be asking for advice here - you'd be giving it.

One thing's for sure - this won't be plug 'n play.

Not really; but it would fit an older modular Fiat like the Multipla for example.

Having said that I'd stick a 20V Turbo in there instead.

Any 'V' engine is wider than a straight four cylinder even something like a Lancia vee-four, the only engine that I can think of that's physically similar to a straight four engine is VW's VR6 and that wasn't really a 'V' engine.
In my opinion the only realistic way to make a panda faster is turbocharging.

I think the Pretender is confusing length and width.
If you want it to look OEM a multiair (turbo) from a Mito or a 500 is the way to go. But you'll need the bodycomputer and locks or a clean ECU to get it all working together.
A 195 (or 210 Madeno tuned) HP Panda would be very nice, but it would be struggling for grip all the time I'm afraid.

A Panda V6 would be something special, a Panda with a 4 cylinder turbo is a common thing.

btw , i ment the other way around.
Length of a engine is the direction the crank is.
So a V6 is not longer then a 4 cylinder, a 5 cylinder is.

Easier said then done.
Is there even an strait bold on turbo manifold for the 69 hp 1.2 ltr Euro 5 engine.
The older 60 hp 1.2 liter is a different story with it's different cylinder head.

Yes and they were cr*p compared to the turbo four pot versions....tbf they were cr*p anyway.

It all depends if it's done right, I have mate with a mini with a c20xe on ITB's in the front. It's a beast and still handles.

They do work well on ITB's, starting to get quite rare now too and still quite compact compared to an Alfa v6 although certainly bigger than the old A-series.
