Technical Wire Not Connected - Causing CAN Bus issue?

So I’ve been getting U0001: High speed CAN communication bus error code intermittently, typically after driving for around 30 minutes or so, which would then cause the triangle with exclamation mark warning light and the start stop warning light. It’s been bugging me for ages and couldn’t figure out why.

And then, I just found this loose wire that’s not connected to anything, it’s on the passenger side under the headlight, anyone knows what the hell this is? I figure this could be what is possibly causing the U0001?

Whatever its supposed to be plugged into won't be far away? Or its there for an optional item not fitted, there's quite a few on my Mazda as it's one loom for all specs( so easy to add some things like washer fluid level )

Agreed not all spec cars got fog-lights but the wiring loom is mainly generic with connectors in place "optional" fitments,- id wager your issue lies elsewhere unfortunately.
