Technical wing mirror

hi i have a ducato 2002 m/home i need to get the back off the wing mirror now i can see at the bottom of the mirror a small compartment with a clip at either side i have had a prod about but am afraid of snapping something any ideas would be great tks

Unclip the mirror glass then you will be able to get at the screws, see pic.
