Hi was the mechanism loose or did you remove it? Was there any missing bolts?
Most likely it's possible to re install assuming nothing broken ?
All else fails Ebay here"could" at a cost post to you? Postage could be more than the part

I appreciate your response. After some more YouTubing I have found that the white part is the only thing broken, in the point that holds the window (there are 2 notches that the windows "sits" on, and they are broken, so the window simply fell inside the door.

At this point I am wondering if I should just get that white plastic part or the entire mechanism.

But I am not sure they even sell just the white plastic part.

Investigating.

BTW - for the record - and in case anyone comes across this post - THIS HERE is the video that helped me

In the meantime (till I actually get the part) can anyone tell me how do I drive with the WINDOW IN PLACE?

it's currently in the back seat. And the noise and heat is killing me.

Someone suggested I just use tape to tape it to the door but that doesn't sound right and in case of a bump it might fall and break.

Any way to hold it in place CLOSED?

Thanks so much!!

PS - yes, currently driving without a driver's window.

Put the window in place (+ up) and secure it with two wooden sticks (one closer to the front of the car, the other one closer to the back of the car) cut to size with a narrow groove on the top of the sticks so they will be held in place by the windows itself. EDIT: they need to be put under the window, something like that. The sticks can be smaller, 2 x 2 cm will be enough.

The plastic part should be available as a separate part. It's not listed as a spare, but I've found it on ebay:

Double check the model / year before the purchase :)
