Styling Will these alloys/wheels fit my Panda?

Hello, we have a Corsa Active that's pretty much just become a non-runner.. I'm looking to take the alloys from it. They're 15" I believe, and I think they'll fit the Panda but I'm not sure what will fit the Panda / tyre and wheel specifications.

Also, I'd be looking to ideally put the steel wheels from the Panda onto the Corsa-C for when it's sold off.

Not sure what size / spec the wheels on my Panda are, but they're the factory wheels for the 2005 1.2 Dynamic with original wheel trims.

The Corsa is a 2004 Active model with the 15" alloys I believe. I've attached Google images of both so you can see, again, both factory configurations.

The corsa wheels will have a pcd of 100 so you'd need wobbly bolts just to fit them. The ET is 40 instead of 35. They're also wider than the Panda ones so I'd predict some kind of rubbing. Personally I think you should leave the wheels on the corsa when you're getting rid of it and look into buying some Panda alloys instead.

See I'd never have realised that, but in the hours since the idea came about I realised there's brand new tyres on my Panda - crap brand, Lassa, but nevertheless I'd need to end up buying more expensive tyres for the new alloys. So maybe a cost effective option is keeping the steels for now. I see many members are putting steels on for winter too, something I also wasn't aware was beneficial!

Least now I know there's probably going to be too many risk factors involved.

Indeed I have two sets of wheels. The original steels with Michelin Alpins for the winter and a set of 13 inch Fiat alloys with Michelin Energy tyres on for the summer. Changed back to the steels last week just before the weather got cold.

Just FYI, the 2 points that Wee Smurf mentioned (the PCD and offset) can both be corrected. The biggest issue is that Vauxhall use a center bore of 56.6mm, while Fiat use 58.1mm. This would prevent the Corsa wheels from even getting onto the hub of the Panda (imagine the cap for your bottle of cola being 2mm too small).

Of course, if both cars are sitting there, you can always try one wheel to see if it fits.

So I can now conclude that they won't fit due to physics. Thanks for explaining it in an easy enough to visualise way.

I'll just look out for some Fiat alloys on eBay or preferably this forum

Now.. WeeSmurf, Have you ever had wheels shipped from mainland UK to NI and would it cost much? I know there's plenty on eBay but shipping seems like it'll cost a lot for NI

No I bought mine from Mervyn Stewarts when they did Fiat and not Skoda for the princely sum of £200 for the set new.

Ahh nice one. £200 seems reasonable for genuine manufacturers alloys.

I know the Corsa ones I referenced here aren't lookers, but i heard comments from a tyre shop on how the manufacturers are known for producing strong and sturdy alloys compared to some cheap after market ones that a lot of people buy.

That's why I'd only try and fit car manufacturer alloys whether it's Fiat , Vauxhall etc

Wonder if Fiat would still manufacture the Panda ones for our the Mk2 or even if some of the nice new Panda alloys are compatible. But then, would they suit.. Lots of decisions here.

1. The 100hp alloys are made of Blu-tak and easily turn into 50ps - though the 45% standard profile tyre doesn't help.


2. There were some brand new Panda 1.2 alloys on ebay recently for £50 each. Mainland sadly.


3. Obviously some FIAT 500 alloys will fit your car as well as the older FIAT Punto etc. If in doubt, ask here.

Actually? I didn't realise. I thought there was the squareish 18s model, the 2003 (ours) and the current Squircle model - not that I doubt anyone's knowledge on here, I still have a lot to learn
