Technical When goes into 5th gear, jumps to Neutral. Returns to normal when slowed down to 4th gear

My Fiat Doblo when driven to 5th gear jumps to neutral. All good on other gears. Anyone encountered same issues?
Pls advise the possible errors n estimated cost of repair

It sounds like a total rebuild or exchange gearbox. Usually caused by worn syncro mesh gear hubs etc.
It is not really our place to advise on costs as they will depend on the current labour and parts charges where you have the work done.

Thanks for the reply. Was hoping for a small part change. Left with 2 yrs on the van and wouldn’t want to spend a bomb on it
