The 2 blanc metal tubings go to the exhaust manifold, port 1 and 4. And the other side via the black plastic box by rubber tubing to input into the airfilter. I think about some exhaust gas recirculation system? No documentation found on Eper... Not my car, not much info, question from a Dutch PAnda owner/clubmember.

Sorry, might be possible, but it might be a pre-ecobox version of the Panda 141. That's why I did put it under "eco'...
Put probably better under 'Panda', I agree. I tried to change it but did not see how to... You or a moderator can do it.

Eco Drive was a piece of software made to work along side blue and me in the late 2000s. So doesn't have anything to do with the engine. I will pop a report in and see if the Mods can move it.

Thanks for, your reaction! I must repeat it is not my car and I only got the photographs and the question...
Do you mean the circular (partly black partly 'yellowish') 'thing' about halfway the rubber tubing? I think that must be a kind of valve to open and close the passage to the airfilter. Un fortunately invisible if there is an electric connection to that part at the 'back' side of the photo. If it is some early kind of EGR, it will only let some exhaust gasses recirculate at certain temperature conditions, I assume. There is also some electronic print involved but not on the pictures...
If you mean the quite out of focus square part, a little lower, and a little more 'yellow', this is a superposition of views from lower situated parts, not connected to the 'questioneed' tubings and parts.
As by previous 'investigation' is ound out that the tubing is not for vacuum or coolant, it gives the strong idea that it has to do with exhaust gas recirculation... The main question of this post is: has someone ever seen this 'tubings' on another Panda? It is from 1987, FIRE 1000 with carburettor...

i have never seen that fit to a FIRE engine ever. do you have a full photo of the whole engine bay?
i have never seen an EGR fitted to a carburetted FIRE engine.. come to think of it i have never seen an EGR fitted to the FIRE with fuel injection!

if you ask me, its more things to go wrong and cause bad running... maybe im just being suspicious of it.
love to see more of it!

Yes indeed, not my car. So I am limited to the info a Dutch member of the Panda-Whatsapp group shared. BUT... a second member showed this message on the Dutch Panda forum, on march 3rd 2012 (in Dutch):
He seems to have a Sisley with a similar system, also a 1000 from 1987! He has the same idea as probably a 'first edition' of a kind of ECO-system, by EGR (might be the same car, in the mean time sold to someone else, who has kept it 'parked' for about ten years!)
