I didn't want one with ad-blue either but whats the alternatives?
I believe it was discontined because of the eu requirements for 6D could only be achieved with adblu a political decission. I currently am quite happy to have a twin egr rather than the peugeot adblus, whether the latest fiat 2.2 is trouble free?
Currently i avoid clean air zones unless the customer wants to pay the clean air charge i would have to pay.. but also ive heard of vans with adblu issues.. errors, 'drinking' too much. Also my freind was telling me if it isnt stored correctly at the shop it can crystallise.
The horror stories about adblu abound, from bottles not being stored properly to excessive consumption to repeated van tanks cracking and waiting 3-6 months for new ones to sensors dying and again on back order. If its for a motorhome search as many MH forums as you can to get a feel (i understand marmites may not be) . even you tube is full of dpf adblu issues. So far not head of any horrors about the new 2.2 fiat. So far i'm comfortable about having a twin egr , being aware of the issues helps and i wish i had more example data from healthy engines, I also have little data on injector performance. I publish usefull data here if any body wants to help i will advise what i need measuring and how to set things up (allready a few guides available).
