Peeps don't feel you have to put a fiat here, but if it is a fiat cool.

so my favourite car would have been me 2.6 straight six mercedes 190. cracking car, thrashed the pants of it, pound a mile at XXXmph. never missed a beat, never cost a penny other than servicing, (diy) or me maverick, would say the paj for the toys it had on it but it cost so much to run and repair would run a mile from another one of them, unless english shogun.

not including cars you want or lust after, cars you have OWNED!
so what was your most favourite car you ever had??

Datsun 100A.
Bought it for a song as the gearbox was like stirring porridge.
Bought the manual, dropped the box, stripped it down, chucked in a few new bits & it went like a dream. PXed it for more than I paid, sorry to see it go really but I needed a bigger car.

Later on in life I bought an old Metro for a bit of fun. Got it for a really great price as it was dumping oil.
Dropped the engine, chucked in a load of new gaskets & had loads of fun driving it... 'til it got nicked!

As I was without a car, a friend gave me his old Uno. Nice little oil burner but too tatty to sell & needed a bit of fettling. I tidied up the bodywork, gave it a full service including new glowplugs & battery & it was fun to drive.

I think the thing with the small cars is that the sense of speed seems greater as your arse is so much closer to the tarmac & even though they were all only around the 1 litre mark, the power to weight ratio gave them great agility & turn of speed. So much fun to drive around town.

Have to say, as an all-rounder, I do love my dobby.

With a choice between a Volvo 940, and an X1/9; and given my username, I reckon it should be pretty easy to figure out I have eyes only for my little blue Italian Stallion. Too easy Campese :)
my mate who owns 4x4 garage, his boy is restoring an x1/9, now that IS a cool fiat.

was taken on the11/11/2007 hence the poppy and the blue thing is the clubs brooklands aniversarry plaque. was the 25th aniversarry of the marque. 29 years ago mb spent 6 million developing this car. it was virtually bomb proof. price new on the H plate (91), £22,500 MB world actually looked this up for me over the phone previous to this event.

I like that there's a 5 Series BMW there too :)

I miss her.! Bravo 155 HGT. It had a Marea gearbox, sports cat and back box, GSR induction kit, Red Dot Remap, Abarth Stilo wheels, drilled and groved discs all round, green stuff pads all round, lowered 40mm and a few other bits here and there. Should never have sold it. Stuck to the road like glue and really shifted especially after it had the Marea box put in.
Looked at the tax and I believe she is of the road now. RIP

Only owned two cars, Punto and a Focus...without a doubt the Punto was more fun. Focus is really boring! Can't wait to get rid lol.

I haven't had my current car long enough to say it's the best (but it probaly is). :slayer::slayer:

The car I miss the most is my Grande Punto mJet. I didn't want her to go but I was made redundant and needed to get rid. It was very much like giving up something before you're finished with it.

All 11 of my cars have been great in one way or another. Even my 2nd Mazda Mx6 that lasted all of 5 hours after I bought it. Didn't even get it home! :bang:

when i lived in a shared house we had a 127 sport. no tax mot etc. wasn't mine but did my fare share in her. god that thing went like a stabbed rat.

landladys son at the time had a 126, which he had on two wheels at one time, cause the police told him. lol

Citroen BX GTI. Wanted a CX Turbo but way too expensive. Ask me about fave bikes...

How long have you got. 1974 Honda XL 250 (single pipe) was tops (& mega rare today). Suzuki Kettle is up there too.

Im on my 6th car in 5 years of driving....

So far ive had...

Corsa 1.3CDTI sxi
Micra 1.216v SE
Stilo 1.9JTD dynamic
Bravo 150MJ Dynamic
Passat 2.0TDI 170 SEL
Megane 1.9DCI CC

So far out of them all... even with its little problems which were sorted under warranty was the stilo... was pretty much fully loaded with the exception of cruise control and satnav.

Though the megane is running it a close second possibly becoming first place soon :)

The worst had to be the passat... lasted me 5 months and had no end of problems tbh... if it hadnt been for the DPF i would of kept it.... but got offered a decent PX price hence it being given the chop for the megane :p and with this sun im not looking back :)
