General what torque setting? thermostat

My new haynes is great, but it doesn't list the torque settings for the thermostat housing. What is it?

Is a nip about 6-8ft/lbs? If so, I've given it maybe 9. Would that be a nap? At least it wsn't a "SNAP"!!

about hand tight plus 1/4 1/2 a turn
