Tomorrow I will try for the first time Hungaroring circuit near Budapest. I have planned 3 sessions / 20 minutes each.

Will it be enough if I use recommended in owner's manual pressure for full load: standard Conti Premiums 2 195/45 R16, front: 2,6 bar, rear: 2,4 bar? On track days in Poland on shorter circuits it was enough but Hungaroring may be demanding for tires.

I have played around a lot with tire pressures with the Fiat 500 and if i were you i would go 36 psi front 34 psi rear, which is a bit over the recommendations but slightly more is better than slightly less especially under hard driving. I tried less recently and i lost grip quicker than i usually would, the car generally felt more 'slippery'.

you should run standard pressure

bear in mind the pressure will increase when hot, and lots of track time will generate heat soak and you may actually need to bleed some air out if pressure becomes too high

buy a tyre temperature tester too (y)

A few PSI more is usually beneficial on the track. You can go wrong running max load PSI although bear in mind that the back is quite light so Ahmetts front rear combo makes a lot if sense really.

In the end I went for max load pressure: 2,6 bar front / 2,4 bar rear and it was good choice. It was quite hot then (+36'C) and after a few laps performance of standard Conti's (especially front left tire which due to circiut configuration was most loaded) was decreasing. Will have to think about some slicks in the future ;)

In three, 20 minute sessions I did on a circuit a little bit over 100 km and it was great fun! Interesting was that when you watch e.g. F1 broadcasts from Hungaroring it seems more or less flat. In a fact more than a half of a circuit you are going up and down the hill :)
