Technical What should this be attached to?

Seem to have a cable floating around - noticed it by the passenger footwell- any idea what it’s supposed to be doing?

Possibly the diagnostics connector? Can't remember what the plug on the end looks like off the top of my head though so don't take that as gospel!

I think that is the ABS diagnostic connector, it clips on somewhere up there when not in use

yellow cable, so it looks like airbag diagnostic connector. There should be a dummy socket to plug it into to keep it hidden if I remember correctly.
