Would tigerseal seal my fuel filler pipe? I have a tiny hole in it which petrol has been seeping from. I think I have more or less sealed it with white bathroom seal, is this similar stuff?

Will PU4 adhesive do the same job?

Yep. It's fundamentally the same stuff. Machine Mart do a white one which may be useful if you're painting over it in a light colour.

If it peels off it's because you've not thoroughly degreased/abraded the surfaces you need to stick together. Acetone or Spirit/Panel Wipe for degreasing, not white spirit (which is greasy!). Ideally, painted surfaces should be taken back to the bare metal.

This is very good advice above

we use tiger sealer to put new panels on buses if its done right they will not come off
we use vibrating air knives to remove damaged /old panels
Windscreen sealer/ glue is different to panel glue
for windscreens the window and frame has to be cleaned with spirit and then primed with special primer first
this is with 45 years experience

heh i was actually under the car today checking the condition of all the rubber boots on the prop shaft and making sure it was all greased up.. (ready for the potential snow)

happy to report that the prop is still held in place super securely with no cracking on the tiger seal

just to note.. 2 years later the tiger seal is still going strong. again no signs of fatigue, no splits or cracks. after a clean it still looked as good as the day i put it on. it seems a great substitute to remake rubber bushes or mounts out of
