Is it on CD Mode that it switches to Bluetooth as many buttons have multiple functions. I think in this situation you really do need to read the manual.

Willey was right - BND does stand for BAND However the logic of pressing the BAND button in order to access the bluetooth hands free features like phone-book defeats me completely For anyone interested this on the Clarion CX609E
